We finally got some rain last night. The rain barrels are nearly full and the garden and forest are singing. Though not much of a drought by California standards, it was still very unusual for us. I tend to be a rainy day person so I found this going on much too long. I like my Summers to be the two appointed months of July and August with the rain and Fall weather starting in September. Hot sunny days in October just isn’t right for around here.
