Feeling Light Headed (2 photos)

This buck came out of the woods today minus the fine set of antlers he had grown this year. This is usual for deer and he will start growing new ones in a month or so. I don’t know if the process of loosing antlers is painful. The wounds looked painful but the deer was his usual cheerful self so perhaps not.
