1. Love the busy little bumble bee. Wild roses have always been a favorite of mine. I’ve lucked out with some interesting miniature wild roses (Rosa pisocarpa) here at the new place. It seems to be forming a bit of a hedge along the top of the bank thanks to a machete applied to the invasive Himalaya blackberries.

    • We also have the miniature roses. A different but equally lovely scent to them. I’m going to try to transplant some wild rose to make a ‘fence’. The hedge we have now is the only thing that seems to hold the deer back.
