1. These pique my curiosity – the first one is like a regular mushroom you’d find on wood, but not with the small growths in the middle…and the last one – such a radiant, cool gray. Looks like a pore mushroom, not a gilled one, but not like any I’ve seen before. Well, they are challenging, aren’t they!

    • The last one is translucent and is called a Toothed Jelly Fungus (Pseudohydnum gelatinosum). Always quite a nice find. I’m not sure if the first one is a Turkey Tail Fungus gone wrong or something else. Yes, identification is definitely challenging.
