These very tall maples loom over our grandkiddos bunkhouse aptly named Maple Lodge. Maple Lodge was also the name of my great, great grandfather’s house in Galt (Cambridge), Ontario.
So after two months of working on my wife’s studio – clearing the land, hauling lumber, lifting walls, pounding nails, etc., I threw my back out earlier this week with something as inglorious as a sneeze. I hobbled around for a few days and as it started to improve I found walking a good way to limber up the back muscles. I feel very fortunate that I can step outside my front door and within a half hour or so come up with some fairly decent photo shots that allows me to fulfill my commitment of a daily photograph from around the property. Here is today’s offering.
